Overview and Routes

The Al-Qudra Cycle Track is a specialized 86 km long bicycle trail, which consists of unique track routes. The long track has one main loop and is divided into several routes. Each of the routes is level and free of vehicles, which means that riders can enjoy a safe ride. Beginners can take a ride on route 1, which is a 50-kilometer loop. Routes 2 and 3 are more challenging and perfect for more experienced amateurs and professional cyclists. The fourth route runs directly along the Al-Qudra road.

The bike track is famous not only for its long bike paths, but also for the magnificent landscapes that visitors enjoy during their journey. You will admire the picturesque view of the desert and even meet rare representatives of the local wild fauna: antelopes and Arabian oryx. The track itself is surrounded by attractions such as Al Qudra Lake, where you can relax and watch the beautiful black swans and flamingos.

When you ride towards the track, the first parking lot is located 15 km from the start of the track. The bike path from this place to the lap looks like a straight road and is called Stick. If you start from this, spot and then do a full lap around the track for 50 km, that adds up to 80 km.

The parking lot has a cafe and a store with sandwiches, fresh juice and coffee. In addition, there are two showers in the parking lot - one for men and one for women, where you can also change clothes.

The quality of asphalt on the tracks is beyond praise. It rolls very smoothly. The accompanying landscape is amazingly calming: nothing but sand, dunes and not a single tree around. If you went clockwise, then you will meet trees on the last 10 km of the track. In the meantime, rare oryx goats and rarely seen cyclists will be your whole company for hours. After 20 km, there are additional branches to the highway if you want to wind up more than 50 km.

There are only two benches with a shade on the entire track – one in the middle of the circle and another 10 km from the finish. There is no water here.

If you ride in winter, then you will not experience any problems with the heat. Very comfortable riding. Only sometimes, the wind can meet you on a walk along the bike track. The most amazing thing about this bike ride is the perfect silence in the desert. Not a single sound. After a noisy city, you will realize that not only forests, glades and seas, but also the Arabian Desert is the same kingdom of Nature, which is able to restore your spiritual strength and bring you joy and peace.

Friday and Saturday mornings are the busiest times at the track. After the workweek all the local riders are eager to ride around the Al Qudra bike track, which means renting the right size can be problematic. The rentals are charged per 1 hour, per 4 hours and for the whole day. Most of our customers find that a 4-hour rental is the best option.

In addition, all bicycles and equipment are treated with disinfectants after each use. For more information, please visit page
